At the end of each day, gaze at an unforgettable palette of colors courtesy of Tamarindo's oceanside sunset which can be viewed from while you dine at our beachfront restaurant, or sip a refreshing cocktail at one of our bars. Our front desk strives to assist you in obtaining your vacation pleasure from the moment you check-in, at 2:00 p.m. (Check-out is 12:00 p.m. noon. Just let them know if you want a late check-out.) The friendly, bi-lingual front desk personnel are on hand 24-hours-a-day to make everything easy for you including excellent rate money exchange, assistance with local or international calls, tips on local restaurants, refer you to an onsite real estate agent, provide you with beach towels, take care of your laundry service and give you your room keys. Also located in the Lobby is the Tour Desk, which can help you with information on local flights at the Private Airport, Car Rentals, Tours, and Golf and Tennis information. With every need taken care of by our staff, you are open to experience the delight that is Costa Rica with all its traditions and wonders.

At Tamarindo Diria Beach & Golf Resort, all of our 182 different rooms in 3 different categories—as well as condominium rentals—have been designed for the comfort and enjoyment of our guests. Each room category offers electronic door locks, safety deposit box, cable television with international news, sports and movie channels, air conditioning, mini bar, national and international telephone service, king size bed or two queen size beds, and soon-to-be-available wireless internet connections--currently wireless connections are available only in the hotel's public areas.

FOOD & BEVERAGE

Tamarindo Diria Beach & Golf Resort offers outstanding international cuisine from our chefs and the most exotic cocktails from any one of our bars or try our varied dessert selection with a cup of coffee from our Cafeteria.

MATAPALO

This showpiece restaurant is the only fine dining establishment in Tamarindo located right on the beach. Enjoy lobster, steaks, seafood and a variety of international cuisine under the shade of a huge Matapalo tree, as the sunlight and moonlight are filtered between its leaves. Sit among hotel guests and visitors from all over town, and watch the breaking waves or listen to the gentle breeze while partaking in lunch or dinner. During Gold Season, on Wednesday Nights, it's Noche Tipica, where we serve traditional Costa Rican and Guanacastecan food such as picadillo (beef and potatoes) and casado (beef, chicken or fish, rice and beans, plantains and salad) while children from the nearby town of Villareal perform traditional folkloric dances. Also, on Saturday Night in Gold Season, the Tamarindo Diria offers a scrumptious BBQ, roasting all meats and seafood for its restaurant clientele to the accompaniment of live music.

Our pool areas are abundant in lounge chairs for tanning and yet covered in plenty of shade from palm trees for those who prefer to limit their sun but wish to enjoy the relaxing setting. In addition, the temperature is always mild in our pools, while the water quality is constantly checked by the Tamarindo Diria's modern water treatment facility.
