In the province of Puntarenas lies Costa Ricas most beautiful bay, miles of fine sand beaches and crystalline water. Because of conditions in the bay there are no dangers to the bathers. Great for sunning, swimming, inshore fishing, and diving around beautiful cliffs, that still preserve it's original vegetation. There is also an important mangrove to discover and admire. There are many unspoiled islands near by that can be visited. In the midst of this gorgeous landscaped gardens and picturesque streams is the settlement of Tambor bay.

Also there are four strategically located bars: La Pista Lounge serving all types of exotic drinks until the late hours of the night, includes a dance floor and stage for nightly entertainment; Zee Bar & La Avispa, a refreshing swim-up bar; Las Palmas, the relaxing pool side bar.
